TWO popular Casey networking groups are joining together for a special seminar at the end of the month.
The Casey Cardinia Business Group (CCBG), in conjunction with affiliate group Women Making it Work, will hold its networking night – Why Smart Marketing is About Help Not Hype – at the Narre Warren Community Learning Centre on Wednesday 30 July.
City of Casey Acting Manager Economic Development Anna Moore said the CCBG had been operating for a year and plans to hold annual networking nights.
“As the premium business group across the Casey Cardinia region, CCBG provides members with a unique opportunity for networking, support and professional development through a variety of events, high profile guest speakers, training and shared information,” she said.
“CCBG networking nights offers members an informal opportunity to connect, build relationships and share knowledge.
“Supported by the City of Casey and Cardinia Shire Council, the group unites a vibrant and active business community and promotes the region as an attractive place for business investment and growth.”
The member-only networking night will also include speeches from Kay Vrieze and Susan Francis-Plunkett who will share the tips they garnered from American marketing consultant Jay Baer, while the pair were in the States.
“Guest speakers Kay Vrieze and Susan Francis-Plunkett are members of both groups and will speak to guests about the latest trends from Jay Baer,” Ms Moore said.
“Jay is a leading expert on social media trends and says to win attention online these days we must ask ourselves a simple question.
“CCBG members will find out what this question is and also what the most important business trend of the mobile age is.”
