ROMANCE is in the air at Casey’s libraries this Valentine’s Day.
Readers are invited to go on a blind date with a book by selecting one of the libraries’ lovingly wrapped selections.
At Cranbourne, Endeavour Hills, Hampton Park and Narre Warren libraries, staff have selected a range of quality books with a short blurb that says what the book is about but does not reveal its cover.
Casey Cardinia Library Corporation community engagement librarian Cenza Fulco said the books had been wrapped in white paper and red love hearts to make this Valentine’s Day a bit more exciting.
“People don’t know what they are borrowing,” she said.
“It’s fun and a bit of a joke for readers to participate in.”
Locals are encouraged to visit their nearest library and their blind date will be waiting.
