Cops take evasive action

TWO police officers narrowly avoided injury while conducting random breath testing in Narre Warren on Friday 12 August.
The booze bus was located on Narre Warren North Road in Narre Warren when a white 2014 Toyota Hilux ute approached the testing lane.
The ute was traveling at 30km/h when it continued past one police officer who had to jump out of the way to avoid being hit by the car.
The driver then swerved towards a second police officer who also had to take evasive action to avoid the vehicle.
The driver then turned the vehicle away from the booze bus and sped off over the witches hats cones.
Police later ascertained the Hilux had been stolen from a Hallam address.
Anyone who has any information is urged to contact Casey CIU or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
