RSL rules the greens

CRANBOURNE RSL division-three had the better of Mulgrave in RVBA pennant on Saturday, winning by 17 shots.
The main winning rink was Doug Ambrose winning by 17 shots, followed by Terry Silberer winning by 15 shots, Greg Dore went down by 11 shots and Mal Watkins team went down by four.
Division five had a tough time against Keysborough losing overall by 58 shots.
Walter Brennan’s team fought out a tough battle, eventually drawing to their opposing team.
Clarrie Ware went down by 17 shots, Bill Frost down by 36 shots and Barry Burgess down by seven.

VLBA A2 had a strong battle, winning against Dandenong City by 15 shots overall.
Barry Burgess team won by 10 shots, Helena Rogers team won by 6 shots, Sandra Bright’s team fought a tight game to draw against their opponents and Esmay May went down by one shot.
B3 ladies played against Cranbourne only to lose by five shots overall.
Results were Sam McIntyre down two shots and Ann Darby’s team down by three.
