MUM was the word at Berwick Fields Primary School last week when prep aged students pampered their mothers.
The afternoon was all part of Mother’s Day events at the school and was tied in with a hero unit the children are currently learning about.
Teacher Lara Laverman said it was a great way for the students to interact with their mothers at school.
“All of the children recognise their mums as real life heroes who rescue, save and help them all the time,” Ms Laverman said.
Massages, nail polish, hand cream, make-up, perfume, scrap booking and noodle necklaces were all part of the Mother’s Day fun.
All of the parents thoroughly enjoyed the chance to spend time with their children and of course being pampered, Ms Laverman said.
