A BERWICK car owner was taken for a ride last week when thieves stole her tyres.
The woman walked outside a Jamieson Avenue home last Tuesday to discover the four wheels and rims from her 2006 Holden Commodore Ute were gone, and the car was up on bricks.
Police said the woman had recently purchased the vehicle and the theft occurred between 10pm on Monday, 17 July and 7.30am on, Tuesday 18 July.
