Endeavour overpowered

IN State League 3 South Eastern Division soccer Endeavour United welcomed one of the top five teams, Mooroolbark, last weekend.
The game started at a frantic pace with Mooroolbark being awarded a free kick, which resulted in a goal. The Endeavour defences were breaking down and Mooroolbark was breaking away to lead 3-0 at half-time.
In the second half a couple of chances were created for Endeavour United, which was constantly looking about to score but proved unlucky.

Endeavour United created a draw out of nowhere. Key player Jude Camille scored from the 18-yard box and shortly afterwards found another opening in the Mooroolbark defence, creating his second goal. But he later came off due to a nasty shoulder injury.

Endeavour United played away on Sunday and did an outstanding job by defeating Glen Eira 1- 0. The match broke the drought and the small contingent of followers and fans were ecstatically happy.
Defender Nicole Skinner scored a beautiful goal late in the game and United took seventh spot on the ladder.

United did outstandingly well by drawing with Ashburton in a never-say-die match that entertained the fans. Ashburton took the lead, which spurred United on to equalise in the last three minutes through Gabrielle Maes.
