Tigers in the fields

– Brad Kingsbury
THERE was a plague of Tigers at Casey Fields on Friday night, but rather than run for the hills, football fans from across the area flocked to the grounds to watch.
The event was a Richmond Football Club intra-club practice match, and many of the Tigers stars were in action.
Former Berwick junior footballer Logan Hill, who has made a good early impression with new club Coburg, was invited to play in the game and made a good fist of it.
The teenager looked at home at the top level, picking up several high-quality possessions while playing with and against AFL stars including Matthew Richardson, Nathan Brown, Joel Bowden and Shane Tuck. Former ROC player Greg Tivendale was also in action during the hit-out, which was played in hot conditions.
