Four charged over damage

POLICE arrested and charged four Hampton Park residents with 40 offences each in relation to extensive damage on the Lynbrook Industrial Estate.
Two 15-year-old boys and two men aged 19 and 20 were charged with numerous offences including criminal damage, burglary and theft of a motor vehicle.
Police said damage occurred at the estate on eight separate occasions between May and August.
Senior Sergeant Bernie Kaminski said the destruction on the estate was one of the worst local cases of criminal damage in recent times.
He said an application would be made against all four charged for the restitution of the damaged caused.
The two men appeared before the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court for a filing hearing last Tuesday, with the 15-year-olds set to appear before the Children’s Court on 1 December.
