CHAMPION St Kilda midfielder Nick Dal Santo visited Strathaird Primary School in Narre Warren South on Monday to express the importance of being sun smart.
The 21yearold AFL player spoke to students about the need to wear sunglasses as a way of reducing the risk of eye disease later in life.
The initiative formed part of a sun smart program sponsored by Streamline sunglasses.
Dal Santo also encouraged young students to try their best, be active and strive to achieve their goals.
Grade one and two teacher Vicki May organised the visit.
