Raid is a bitter pill for pharmacy

THIEVES struck a Narre Warren pharmacy early last Monday morning, stealing medications and expensive perfume.
Police said thieves smashed a glass window at the front of the Webb Street chemist store about 1am.
Detective Sergeant Garry Kear said the thieves then stole various pharmaceutical items, including medication, before smashing display cases and taking some perfume.
Cash was also stolen during the break-in and Det Sgt Kear said the total value of stolen items was approximately $5000.
Two men wearing dark clothing were captured on the store’s security surveillance during the break-in.
Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact Senior Constable Tony Meyers of Narre Warren CIU 9705 3111 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
