A NARRE Warren resident suffered only minor injuries when his car careered into the front room of his house last week.
Narre Warren State Emergency Service (SES) volunteers were called out to Mustang Avenue about 4.45pm last Thursday week.
Sergeant Pat McGavigan from Casey Traffic Management Unit said the 62-year-old man had been working on his car and then tried to reverse it into the carport.
The vehicle accelerated, hitting a house support pole before careering through a window and into the lounge room.
SES spokeswoman Kanny Lee said a crew of four worked at the site for about 90 minutes, helping to secure the house to prevent any further collapse.
Oops, look who’s fronted!
