CASEY officially launched its new and improved youth website, insideinfo, during National Youth Week.
City of Casey mayor Janet Halsall unveiled the 24 hour access website at an open day at the Cranbourne Youth Information Centre.
The City of Casey’s first youth website, insideinfo, was launched back in 2003. The current website replaces the previous one with a new look to ensure it’s more user-friendly and attractive to young people.
City of Casey manager for youth and family services Lee McIntosh said the website was redeveloped to keep pace with the way young people seek information. She said that the internet was one of the most important tools young people used to obtain information. The website has information on youth issues, programs and services available in Casey as well as upcoming events.
Insideinfo can be accessed by anyone but is mainly targeted towards young people aged 10 to 25 years.
You can check out the website out at www.insideinfo.casey.vic.gov.au
