BERWICK Junior Football Club players were the lucky recipients of awards supplied by sponsor Berwick Mazda this season, and club president Trevor Byrne has thanked the business for its support of the club’s 2007 campaign.
Award winners were announced in all grades throughout the season as follows:
Under 16 James Ross (round three) kicked 10 goals against Beaconsfield.
Under 15 Tom Brennan (round 13) for a great four-quarter effort against top-of-the-ladder Cranbourne.
Under 14 Aaron Smith (round four) kicked 10 goals at full forward/centre half forward against Officer.
Under 13 James Flynn (round 10) kicked seven goals at full forward against Beaconsfield after coming back from a broken hip, and Kyle Bronsgeest (round six) against Officer.
Under 12 Nathan Williams (round two) kicked five goals at full forward against Fountain Gate, and Matt Fleming (round seven) kicked four goals against Pakenham.
Under 11 Ben Hartley (round 12) was in great form against Dandenong Saints, and Jordan Taylor (round nine) for an excellent game against Beaconsfield.
Under 10 Ben Presutto (round one) kicked two goals from a wing, and talented ruckman Mason Peatling (round five).
Under nine Jordan Hill (round 11) and Jack Havers (round eight), both skilful running midfielders.
