THE countdown is on for this weekend’s free exhibition of world-class artworks in Casey.
Kevin Hill’s Top Ten Australian Artists Art Show comes to the City of Casey Civic Centre in Narre Warren on Saturday and is back by popular demand following last year’s inaugural show.
The art show will feature a broad range of paintings and drawing from Australia’s best talents, including Victorian-based artists Max Mannix, Paul Margoscy and Gary Myers.
Traditional landscapes, contemporary fauna and Australiana caricatures are among the works, all of which are for sale.
Casey mayor Kevin Bradford said the only place Kevin Hill’s Top Ten Australian Artists Art Show had been seen in Victoria was in the City of Casey.
“I encourage residents to take some time over the weekend to enjoy the show,” he said.
Visitors will have the chance to have a relaxed chat with many of the exhibiting artists throughout the weekend and can purchase some of the most collectable and affordable investment art in Australia.
In addition, visitors have the chance to win a Paul Margoscy painting valued at $3600.
The art show will run from 10am to 5pm on Saturday, 9 September and 10am to 4pm on Sunday, 10 September.
The Council Chamber is at the City of Casey Civic Centre, Magid Drive, Narre Warren.
The cost of entry is free.
