MORE than 150 dads and special friends went back to school last week when a Narre Warren South school hosted a special Bloke’s Breakfast.
To coincide with Father’s Day, the special visitors at Narre Warren South P-12 College were treated to breakfast, with students in prep to four invited to bring along their father or special friend.
Early years coordinator Elene Archbold said the breakfast had been a huge success and they were looking forward to making it an annual event.
She said the school would also be looking into hosting an International Women’s Day next year to bring students, mothers and special friends together.
“Everyone had a fantastic time. We have had a lot of positive feedback,” Ms Archbold said.
During the breakfast guests were treated to muffins and orange juice and both students and their special friends created portraits of one another.
Visitors then went into the classrooms and had the chance to look at students’ work.
