Carols to light up Christmas

Narre Warren South is set to hold its biggest event yet when it hosts the inaugural Casey Central Christmas Carols by Candlelight next month. Rob Nyhuis from Oakgrove Community Church, Vaughn Burke from Narre Warren Lions Club, Steve McCracken from Fountain Gate Christian Centre, Lesley Farrell and Stephen Farrell from Narre Warren Lions Club, Casey Youth Ambassador Michelle Steeden, Mark Turner from Strathaird Neighbourhood Watch and Cr Ben Clissold are getting their voices set for the event.Narre Warren South is set to hold its biggest event yet when it hosts the inaugural Casey Central Christmas Carols by Candlelight next month. Rob Nyhuis from Oakgrove Community Church, Vaughn Burke from Narre Warren Lions Club, Steve McCracken from Fountain Gate Christian Centre, Lesley Farrell and Stephen Farrell from Narre Warren Lions Club, Casey Youth Ambassador Michelle Steeden, Mark Turner from Strathaird Neighbourhood Watch and Cr Ben Clissold are getting their voices set for the event.

ON Saturday, 3 December the sound of Christmas carols will fill the vacant land south of Casey Central Shopping Centre.
The event will include a community carnival, picnic time, face painting, a jumping castle, a visit from Santa and a giant fireworks show.
The event is being organised by local churches with the support of Casey Central, the City of Casey, Narre Warren South P12 College, community groups and sponsors.
From 6pm7.30pm is a food and fun session, and from 7.30pm8pm school groups will put on a performance to warm up the crowd before the carols by candlelight start.
The alcoholfree event is free of charge, although a gold coin donation will be encouraged. In the event of wet weather the event will be moved to the Narre Warren South P12 College.
