A TWO-car collision in Berwick on Friday caused traffic disruption for almost an hour.
Police and Country Fire Authority (CFA) crews attended the scene on Clyde Road, near the Princes Freeway on-ramp, after the vehicles collided about noon.
No-one was injured in the incident.
Berwick CFA captain Alan Boyd said no-one was trapped in the cars and emergency service personnel worked to clean up the site.
Meanwhile, a car ended up on its side in the front yard of a Narre Warren house on Saturday.
Casey Traffic Management Unit Acting Sergeant Helen Edwards said the car was travelling along Sweeney Drive, near the corner Tralee Circuit, when it swerved to avoid another vehicle travelling on the wrong side of the road.
The car then hit a corrugated steel fence, stopping only metres from the front of the house.
No-one was injured in the incident.
Act Sgt Edwards said the incident could have been a lot worse.
“It could have been very nasty and it just highlights the issue with the hoon driving behaviour and how dangerous it can be,” she said.
Officers are continuing to investigate both incidents and would like anyone with any information to contact Narre Warren Police on 9705 3111.
