A FEAST of food, dance and fun will greet those who attend a Buddha Day ceremony in Narre Warren North this Sunday.
Volunteers at the Yun Yang Temple have opened the gates for their annual multicultural festival and food fair and hope locals take part in a cultural adventure.
Traditional dances will take place in the scenic Buddhist gardens that stretch throughout the Reservoir Road property while an array of vegetarian food will be dished up for a small fee.
Children will also be entertained throughout the day with the colour and excitements of the dances and other activities tailored to the younger age.
A special Buddha birthday dharma ceremony will also take place at 9am with the main event starting at 10.30am through to 3pm.
Yun Yang volunteer Mary Fong said everyone was welcome to come and see what went on at the temple.
“We are really encouraging the local community to come along,” Ms Fong said.
“Entry is free and is open to everybody.”
