A NARRE Warren hotel has taken out a top gong by being named Quest Serviced Apartment’s Franchise of the Year.
The top award was recently handed to former owners of the Quest in Narre Warren, Robert Sumpton and Peter Sweetland, at the Quest Serviced Apartments annual awards presentation.
The award celebrates franchisee success and acknowledges individuals and their contribution to both the Quest business as well as their own.
With 94 of Quest’s 102 properties across Australia, New Zealand and Fiji operating as franchised businesses there was strong competition for the coveted Quest Franchise of the Year Award.
The win has set high standards for the Quest Narre Warren’s new owners Jeyanthi and husband Kumar Vasantha who took over the business just over a month ago.
The pair said they were thrilled with the award and were keen to maintain the same high standards as the previous owners.
Ms Vasantha, a former dentist, said she and her husband had been looking for a career change when they purchased the franchise.
As avid travellers, Ms Vasantha said she had always had an interest in hospitality and the couple was now thrilled to be working within the industry.
Ms Vasantha said the City of Casey was the gateway to many great tourist destinations and the Narre Warren area had many great places of interest on offer to travellers.
Quest Narre Warren also won the regional Victoria category during the awards ceremony.
