THE Berwick Miners gridiron club will host the Vic Bowl 2006 grand final this weekend, Sunday 10 September, in Endeavour Hills. But the Miners won’t be playing thanks to their loss to top team Nunawading Warriors in the semi.
Facing the Warriors will be the Croydon Rangers who fought a nail-biter match, winning by only four points against second-placed Western Crusaders.
These two teams faced each other last year in the grand final with the Warriors coming out on top. This year the Rangers are looking for some payback.
Food and drinks will be available at the canteen. The Vic Bowl 2006 grand final will be played at the Berwick Miners’ Home Ground, Sydney Pargeter Reserve, Power Rd, Endeavour Hills.
