Nick on his way to Europe

Narre Warren’s Nick Conway is preparing to tackle a barrage of international competitors at the under-25 World Triathlon Championships in Hamburg, Germany, on 2 September. The 23-year-old local is the fastest qualifier for the competition after claiming the 20-to-24 age group at the Australian Triathlon Series in Perth in February. Conway trains up to eight hours a day on top of being a physical education teacher at Pakenham Secondary College and whipping other individuals’ bodies into shape as a physical trainer. He believes victory in the prestigious race would be a just reward for the hard toil he has put into the sport and would give his army of supporters much joy.Narre Warren’s Nick Conway is preparing to tackle a barrage of international competitors at the under-25 World Triathlon Championships in Hamburg, Germany, on 2 September.
