STUDENT leaders at Maranatha Christian School did their bit for the environment during National Tree Day last month.
The Endeavour Hills school took part in the event, which has become Australia’s biggest community tree-planting occasion.
With help from Planet Ark and a $400 donation from AMP, the school was able to purchase more than 100 native trees, which students planted on an embankment near the school oval.
