THE Casey Tigersharks swim team is calling on local children to come and make a splash at the club’s trials next weekend.
Designed for children aged between six and 11 years, the development squads offer one-on-one coaching with club coach Ben Hiddlestone and the chance to have fun and improve swimming skills.
Ben was the assistant coach of Grant Hackett for three years and provides professional coaching with an emphasis on fun and skill.
A basic knowledge of freestyle, breast stroke and backstroke is required but, luckily for most, butterfly is not.
The first 15 swimmers to register with the club will receive a free kickboard and buoy.
Tryouts are on Saturday, 3 June at 3.30 and Sunday, 4 June at noon at Casey Arc or on Sunday, 11 June at noon at Cranbourne Indoor Pool. For more information contact Ben, phone 0413 513 969, or visit www.caseytigersharks.com.au.
