MUSICIANS transformed Berwick Secondary College into a school of rock last week.
Students on the Vocational Education and Training (VET) music course performed to a sell-out crowd of 180 on Monday, 9 October.
Most of the course’s 30 students showed off their musical talent at the school’s performing arts centre.
Music teacher Matt Miller, who has been teaching the course for two years, said the students had a ball.
“It was a good night,” he said. “We had a full house and it was a really good vibe.”
The program encompasses all aspects of music making, from recording and performing to managing bands and learning the ins and outs of the industry.
Mr Miller said he expected the course to become more and more popular.
“It’s going to go through the roof because so many kids are into their music,” he said.
