
PREPARATIONS are underway for the annual Doveton Show on Sunday 21 September at Myuna Farm.
The family-friendly show has been running in Doveton for the past three years.
The event runs from 10am to 4pm and entry fee is a gold coin donation.
The day will feature cultural performances, activities and stalls run by local groups and organisations, sheep shearing demonstrations and an arts and craft competition.
Guests will also get the opportunity to get up close and personal with animals such as sheep, alpacas, deer and cattle and enjoy a train ride through the farm’s wetlands.
A rides wrist band available for $10 allows unlimited rides on the Egyptian Castle, Circotrone, Bungee Run, Bucking Bull, GI Jane rock climb and the chair-o-plane.
The historical Captain Doveton will also make an appearance.
The event is sponsored by VicHealth and the City of Casey.
