STUDENTS at a Narre Warren South school paraded in flannelette shirts and thongs for the All Things Australian event on Tuesday last week.
To mark Remembrance Day, Heritage College held a service at 10.50am, pausing for a minute’s silence at 11am.
Principal Stuart Barons spoke to students about appreciating what was done for Australia, while the school captains, Stacey Ithier and Jerome Coutet, laid a wreath at the flag.
After the ceremony, students rotated through activities such as flag-making, cooking lamingtons, reciting poetry and playing a game of cricket.
