POLICE are calling for witnesses after thieves stole money and goods worth $26,500 from a Berwick home.
Detective Senior Sergeant Steve Gaskin from Narre Warren police said the thieves broke into the Cedarwood Crescent home between 10.30pm on 21 November and 6am on 22 November.
Police said $9000 in cash, a global positioning system unit, mobile phone, computer and watch valued at $8000 were stolen, and that two heating vents were removed from a wall.
