HAMPTON Park Bowls Club recorded a resounding 74-shot win over third-placed Mulgrave Country Club (MCC) to cement a finals’ spot in RVBA Division Four.
Fred McBrian, Arthur Parish, Larry Simpson and skip Geoff Ladner had the tough game of the day and had to be content with a 24-24 draw, while Pat Moevasa, Lance Davis, Ken Cobden and skip Bob Woodfield came out with all guns firing in their 43-12 win.
Jim Westwell, Jeff Crozier, Geoff Ampt and skip Neville Hendrie conceded only two twos and five singles in their 43-9 win.
Sean McDonald, Zac Storm, Andrew Brandolin and skip Lionel Williams had a big enough lead at the halfway mark to hold off the MCC fight back to win 28-19.

Hampton Park/Keysborough lost by 30 shots against St Kilda at Keysborough in their RVBA Division Eight clash.
A slump on the last few ends left Len Bell, Vince Kovacic, Lino Da Pos and skip Bruce Pointon with a 20-26 loss, while Rayden Storm, Ray Wood, Paul Barna and skip Nic Wings led all day for a 22-14 triumph.
Rico Storm, Keith McCarty, Gwen Clough and skip Ray Leggett could not match the opposition’s strong play in their 13-34 defeat.
Rudy Oost, Willi Hofer, June Damon and skip Werner Melzer lost 18-29, despite forging a strong comeback.

The Parkers thumped Frankston RSL by 56 shots in VLBA Division Two action.
Tracy Storm, Gail Wilcock, Gail Williams and skip Helen Lambert took total control of the game with a 52-8 win, while Christine Hendrie, Ann Westwell, Ellen Smith and skip Heather Naismith had to be content with their 28-16 success.
