FOUR schools within the City of Casey have received funding for new computers as part of the National Secondary School Computer Fund.
Hallam Senior Secondary College, Fountain Gate Secondary College, Gleneagles Secondary College and Endeavour Hills Secondary College will share 579 new computers for students in Years 9 to 12.
Holt MP Anthony Byrne said it was important that the students had access to quality information technology. “The National Secondary School Computer Fund helps equip our kids with the skills they need in an increasingly digital world,” he said.
The Australian Government will invest more than $2 billion over six years to help schools get new or upgraded information and communications technology.
Hampton Park Secondary College, Maranatha Christian School and Heritage College will also receive funding for new computers.
