THE Narre Warren and Narre Warren North fire brigades will replace fire equipment damaged during the Black Saturday fires after receiving cheques from the Rotary Club of Narre Warren.
The club’s president Ian Pickering and Rotarian Roger McGill visited both stations to make the $1000 cheque presentations.
“The funds were presented in respect and appreciation of the work that is being done by our two local fire crews,” Mr Pickering said.
“Fire crews need our support just as we need theirs.”
