A NARRE Warren South P-12 College student has started an apprenticeship at the Narre Warren South community branch of the Bendigo Bank this week to gain an insight into the finance and banking industry.
Ashlee Leitch will spend 12 months at the Amberly Park Drive branch as part of a traineeship program.
The Year 10 student will be trained as a customer service operator. Branch manager Paul Jones said the initiative provided students with hands-on experience in the industry, while also attaining a nationally recognised Certificate III in Financial Services.
