Punched and robbed

A 15-year-old boy was the victim of a daytime assault in Hampton Park last weekend.
Police said at 3.10pm on 9 May, the Hallam boy was walking along Regans Road when a dark grey Ford Falcon with P-Plates drove past him and did a u-turn.
A male passenger got out of the car and asked the boy for the time, before punching him in the left cheek, knocking him to the ground, and taking his mobile phone. The offender asked the victim for his wallet. After the boy gave up his wallet, the offender punched the victim in the face again.
The boy suffered minor injuries, including swelling, bruises and cuts.
Police said the male driver spoke to the offender, and they both fled the scene in the car. It is believed there were other passengers in the car.
The offender is described as a male, aged 17 to 18, tall, skinny and dark-skinned. The driver is described as a Caucasian male, chubby, with black hair.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Simon Polson at Cranbourne CIU on 5991 0600 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
