HERITAGE College dads and grandfathers gathered at the school last Friday for a dad’s morning to celebrate Father’s Day.
Around 60 dads and grandfathers of the Prep to Grade 6 students took time off work or changed their routine to spend the morning at the school.
Prep student David was fortunate to have his dad and both grandfathers at the event.
The students and their dads and grandfathers played with construction blocks, read books, wrote acrostic poetry and played outdoor sport.
Parent Mark Bower said it was a very special day.
“It was wonderful to join my boys at school. And they were particularly excited that their dad drove them to school that day,” Mr Bower said.
The guests at the school also enjoyed a morning tea provided by the parents and friends association.
