A MAN was punched in the face and had cash and his phone stolen after he finished his shift at McDonald’s in Narre Warren on the weekend.
Three men and twowomen approached the victim in the foyer about 7am on Sunday after he had finished work, and one of the males requested to use the victim’s phone, police said.
The victim agreed and returned inside the store after the male used the mobile phone.
Police said the victim later came back out of the store, when the males snatched the phone from his hand and started to walk away.
The victim asked to have his phone back, but the offenders demanded cash, which he handed over before being punched in the face. The victim had minor injuries.
Anyone with information can contact Detective Senior Constable Chris Russo at Narre Warren Police Station on 9705 3111.
