THE annual Casey Creations competition for all budding visual artists and photographers in years 7 to 12 to get creative is on again.
The competition is part of National Youth Week and will be judged by a panel of young people, local artists and community representatives.
Younger students in years 5 and six can also enter their work in a separate competition, the Casey Creations Junior section.
City of Casey director community services Greg Wood said: “The competition is a way for young people to participate in National Youth Week and to potentially gain recognition for their artistic talents”.
The winners of both competitions will receive their awards at an event during National Youth Week in April which will celebrate the achievements of young people from the City of Casey region said Mr Wood.
Entries close at 5pm on Friday 5 March and can be submitted at any of council’s Youth Information Centres or Customer Service Centres.
Terms and conditions of entry apply, and all entries need to be accompanied by an entry form, which can be downloaded at www.insideinfo.casey.vic.gov.au.
