A MAN armed with a knife demanded cash from a woman, 57, during an aggravated burglary in Cranbourne North last weekend.
Police said the woman was asleep in her Courtenay Avenue unit on Sunday 14 February when the man entered through an unlocked bedroom window about 10.25pm. The woman was woken by the offender, who then fled the home through the front door with cash and a mobile phone.
Police have described the man as being aged between 30 and 35, medium build with an olive complexion and wearing a long dark overcoat. He is believed to be a smoker.
Witnesses are asked to call Senior Constable Reuben McAllister at the Narre Warren police station on 9705 3111.
