PEARL Fenner is described as a “treasure” at TLC Homewood Aged Care in Hallam.
The resident celebrated her 100th birthday on Tuesday with her fellow residents and staff, enjoying birthday cake at the aged care facility.
Mrs Fenner worked in a fur coat factory before moving to Warrnambool with her husband Stan.
The pair then relocated to Melbourne where they lived near Chapel Street in Prahran.
When she first met Stan, Mrs Fenner said he was a “cheeky man who stole a kiss.”
Mrs Fenner enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and has a passion for singing and dancing.
Lifestyle co-ordinator Debbie Moss told the News Mrs Fenner also enjoyed a party with her family last weekend to mark her 100th birthday.
Mrs Fenner is the third oldest resident at TLC Homewood Aged Care.
