CASEY’S Winter Arts Program is off to a singing start.
The program provides an opportunity for residents to take part in a range of arts activities and events throughout July.
More than 30 artists and arts groups are participating in this year’s Winter Arts Program. City of Casey mayor Lorraine Wreford said Casey was home to many talented artists whose creativity and artistic abilities were being showcased as part of the program.
“Whether residents want to join in the fun, learn a new skill or sit back and relax, the 2010 Casey Winter Arts Program has something for everyone,” she said.
This year, there are opportunities for residents to get up-close-and-personal with some well renowned authors such as Keri Arthur and Robin Bowles. Participants can also look forward to some choir and theatre performances by some of Casey’s amateur and professional entertainers.
