HALLAM firefighters are reminding residents to be vigilant when using electrical equipment in homes during winter following a house fire in Eumemmerring.
The fire at the Tivoli Court house on Monday 19 July is believed to have been caused by an electrical fault in the bathroom.
Firefighters “aggressively” attacked the fire and brought it under control within 15 minutes.
The fire was contained to the bathroom, toilet, kitchen and roof.
One of the occupants in the house was treated for smoke inhalation.
