NEW police recruits will continue their training on-the-job with colleagues in Endeavour Hills and Cranbourne.
The 23 new police members, 14 men and nine women, graduated from the Victoria Police Academy last Friday and are set to take to the beat across the state in the coming weeks.
Parliamentary secretary for Police and Emergency Services Danielle Green said the graduates had undertaken 23 weeks of intensive training at the Police Academy.
Ms Green said more than 5800 recruits had passed through the academy since 1999.
Victoria Police launched the largest recruitment drive in police history last month to attract a record 1700 new recruits.
