Narre Warren’s under-16 division one team was among a host of local teams that claimed premiership glory at Casey Fields on Sunday.
In front of about 8000 spectators that attended one of the region’s biggest sporting events Narre Warren junior football club brought home four flags, Berwick claimed three while Endeavour Hills notched up one.
Narre Warren’s Under-16 (Div.1) team defeated Berwick White by 20 points during their grand final match, while their Under-15s beat Narre Warren North Foxes in a close one by 16 points.
The Under-11 division one Narre Warren Blacks defeated the Narre Warren North Foxes by 33 points during their clash, while the Under-10s Division One Narre Warren Blacks defeated Pakenham Lions by five points in a tight match. Berwick scored a triple grand final feat – two in the Under-14s and one in the under-13s.
Berwick’s Under-14 Division One team defeated Narre North Foxes Black by 35 points in their final after finishing the season undefeated.
The Under-14 Division Three side defeated Cranbourne by seven points after finishing in first place (11-2) during the season.
The Under-13 Division Three team came from third place on the ladder with eight wins to beat Narre Warren South Lions Gold by 20 points.
The Endeavour Hills under-16 division two team kicked a massive score of 20 plus goals to defeat Narre Warren by more than 12 goals in their grand final.
