SCREAMING girls greeted pop punk band Short Stack as they took centre stage at Westfield Fountain Gate on Saturday.
Fans flocked to the shopping centre and lined up from 6am to catch a glimpse of band members, Shaun, Andy and Bradie, who spent two hours in the Narre Warren centre as part of an in-store signing tour.
Narre Warren resident Ana Wines said once Short Stack arrived, hundreds of fans burst through the barricades.
“Girls cried as they left the stage and screamed ‘we love you’,” Ms Wines said.
“They were given gifts by fans and bubbles that Shaun, one of the band members, happily blew. They stayed and signed everyone’s singles and took photos with every fan who wanted a photo.”
Ana’s daughter, Brittney, waited in the line from 7am.
The 11-year-old got her poster and CD signed.
