BETTER access to public transport for Casey’s disabled residents is needed – according to councillor Amanda Stapleton.
Cr Stapleton said she had been contacted by a number of residents complaining about the lack of accessible wheelchair and motor scooter access to public transport in the area.
“I think the council should write to the minister of public transport Martin Pakula requesting a review of the issue,” she said.
The council resolved to send the letter to Martin Pakula and the shadow minister for transport in the lead up to the election.
