Cr Shar Balmes attended the official opening of the new grounds on Saturday 6 November along with about 80 club members, other petanque players, and Sydney Pargeter Reserve representative David Anning.
“The petanque club is such a warm group, anyone would feel welcomed,” Cr Balmes said.
“I hope they continue to grow so others can experience the benefits offered by this activity.”
