Safety Bate

A NUMBER of Casey families along with Demons’ player Matthew Bate gathered at the Casey Safety Village to unveil the new train signals that will operate as part of the interactive road safety learning experience.
City of Casey manager Community Safety Caroline Bell said the Demons Safety Day was a great success, with nearly 200 guests present.
Visitors enjoyed games, activities, giveaways, a visit from the Cranbourne CFA, handball target competitions and a magic show, along with the benefit of being educated about a number of important road and fire safety messages.
“Casey is committed to providing opportunities for younger residents to learn about road and fire safety in a fun, interactive environment and the Demons Safety Day was a reflection of that commitment,” Ms Bell said.
