ANDREW Parker will be right in the action for next year’s Australian Open – as an MLC ballkid.
Selected from thousands of applicants, Andrew is looking forward to watching some of the world’s best players compete from the ‘best seat in the house’
“I can’t wait!” he said.
“It’s going to be the experience of a lifetime.”
Andrew lives in Narre Warren South and was one of six kids selected from the Casey area.
He is looking forward to the opportunity to work on his ball skills, make new friends and watch some world-class tennis up close.
“As an MLC ballkid, we are in the thick of the action,” he said.
The 367 successful kids aged 12-15 were tested on their fitness, ball skills, concentration and attitude.
“We are delighted to support this young and dedicated group who share our values of performance and teamwork,” MLC chief executive officer Steve Tucker said.
