A DAY of fun, friends and fancy dress, the CHIPS annual Life Gets Better Wacky Walkathon has been relocated to Wilson Botanic Park in Berwick from Lysterfield Lake Park, due to flood damage.
The 6.25km walk is scheduled to be held on Saturday the 26 March, and aims to raise funds to enable local charity CHIPS(Christians Helping in Primary Schools) to continue their work with children in the City of Casey who are dealing with death, divorce and major trauma.
In the spirit of fun and light-heartedness, participants are encouraged to dress up in costumes or crazy hats; prizes will be awarded on the day to the most creative entrants.
Other activities on the day include a fund-raising barbecue.
It’s easy to get involved – simply download a registration form from www.chips.org.au or contact the CHIPS team directly on 9702 5528 or at enquries@chips.org.au
