THE Pakenham Pumas Baseball Club are on the lookout for players.
The Pumas, a 10-year-old club that competes in the Dandenong Baseball Association, will have two tryout days at Toomuc Valley Reserve. The first is this Saturday and the second is on 26 March. Both sessions start at 11am.
“Anybody and everybody is welcome to come along,” Renee Hunter, junior co-ordinator of the Pakenham Pumas Baseball Club said.
“We are looking for under 12s, under 14s and older. We need junior and senior players to make the club stronger and more competitive,” she said.
“Some senior sides finished near the finals last year and we’re getting a bit better,” Ms Hunter said. The 2011 season starts in mid-April. Contact Ms Hunter on 0404 079 556 for more information.
