Wed in chapel

CANDICE Palmer and Dustin Greenway were married on Sunday 12 September 2010, in the chapel at Rosebank Receptions in Ringwood North.
Candice is the third daughter of Julie and Alan Palmer of Pakenham.
Candice’s attendants were both family and friends. Hayley McIntosh was Maid of Honour, and her two sisters Melissa Truden and Bernadette Toohey, along with Jessica Van Der Ven were bridesmaids.
Dustin was attended by his brother Tyson Greenway as best man and his two long-time friends Rowan Johnstone and Dylan Smith and the bride’s brother Brendan Palmer were groomsmen.
Two gorgeous flower girls, Kayla and Lexi completed the wedding party beautifully.
Candice chose an ivory delustered satin wedding gown with a diamante decorated bodice and a chiffon skirt overlay, teamed with a short ivory veil, which was also decorated with diamantes. She carried a sheaf of deep red long-stemmed roses and cream spray roses with leather fern resting across her arm.
The bridesmaids wore three-quarter length black dresses complemented with an ivory sash and black fabric flower, made by the bride’s mother. They carried a sheaf of long-stemmed red roses, also resting on a bed of leather fern, which looked stunning against the black gowns.
Local florist Jo Barnes made beautiful arrangements for all the bridal party and parents of the bride and groom.
The mother of the bride wore a purple two-piece ensemble with a sequined bodice and a three-quarter length teamed with cream pearlesque accessories.
Dustin chose a black lounge suit with a black shirt and ivory tie, complemented with a cream lapel rose. The groomsmen wore black lounge suits with black ties set off with a red lapel rose.
Candice and her parents arrived in a black BMW, kindly provided and driven by close family friends Art and Dee Dredge, while the bridesmaids and flower girls arrived in a silver BMW, kindly provided and driven by the groom’s father Ward Greenway. Dustin and his groomsmen arrived at the chapel in a red XR6.
The two pretty flower girls entered the chapel first, followed by the four bridesmaids. Candice’s proud father walked her down the aisle to a watchful but smiling bridegroom.
The Reverend Bruce Monro performed their marriage ceremony beautifully in front of a crowded chapel of family and friends. Rev Monro was the minister of the Pakenham Uniting Church for 10 years, during which Candice attended Sunday School, Youth Group and played netball for the Uniting Church KUCA Netball Team.
Photos were taken in the grounds of the reception centre and all the family and friends joined together for a group photo cheering the happy couple before moving onto the wedding breakfast held at Rosebank Receptions.
The wedding cake was a three tier square chocolate mud cake decorated with silver accessories and black ribbon, which was made and beautifully decorated by local cake maker Mitzi Ross.
Candice and Dustin honeymooned on Hamilton Island and have made their home in Pakenham.
